The New Must Have: The Wedding Planner
From the moment the engagement is announced and the big day starts to loom, the potential for a mishap is preperation is a growing spectre. Planning the biggest landmark day of our lives is no doubt going to be stressful so what is the solution?
A newly annointed character in recent movies such as 'Sex & The City' leave a lasting impression and desire to hire. This well dressed and self-confident personage is like a magician that clicks their fingers and assuages the biggest obstacles to everlasting joy.
With the wedding business buzzing with ever growing life and betrothals seeing boom time in the exchange of coupling vows, it seems the need for the modern navigator in the field is as important as ever. The wedding planner should be almost superhuman in their attitude to fears and styles and decision making. Stand aside Mother, we shalt be pampered and slip seamlessly into the soft effervescence of everlasting love.
For the male part of the species, it is likely an oddity to have a third party proffering wisdom in such areas where one can usually decide for oneself. But wait a minute.. there is an upside.. the wedding planner has a list of tailors that will exceed your expectations and ensure that you look exceptional. The wedding planner has seen on numerous occasions the approaches that bring tears of joy welling up from the heart and the kind that come from desperation and sadness from failure.
Dressmakers and colour schemes, flowers and taste, these can all come together under the tasteful eye of the experienced wedding planner to produce the excited whispers down the aisle that every bride desires and every groom reflects in his knowing smile.
Scheduling, the wedding dinner, the band and 1st dance.. the list goes on all the way through to the honeymoon break from chauffeurs to E-type Jags! So where do we find these angels of fortune? I have had the great pleasure to have tea with one of London's finest Wedding Planners, Mark Niemierko. Mark Niemierko walks into the room looking spritely, exuding confidence and suave self-assurance. His confidence is highly contagious and he is pitched perfect to allay your fears about the big day. He is a regular feature in magazines from Conde naste to Vogue and has successully wedded clients from Oligarch's to professional footballers.
Niemierko's recipe is wise and ruthlessly implemented. The bride is the most special person in the world and groom is only a hair fracture behind. They are paying for a once in a lifetime experience and it is his primary concern that this is what they get. Niemierko's little white book of contacts and prefered suppliers is a brides best friend. It gives pleasure and joy to watch him effortlessly manage the details of the big day whilst they wallow in heavenly indulgences. I have heard that Niemierko wedding is so good that clients have seriously considered divorce just to get a second ride!
